J&R has fair pricing, flexible hours, and knowledgeable … More staff who are willing to to work with you until you succeed. Maria, Jose, and Isaac are all excellent instructors who are dedicated to solidifying your driving and knowledge skills. Juan and Rafa (J&R) are also great guys who provide lots of encouragement throughout your training. Their trucks are manual 10 speeds so testing with them will not earn you an automatic restriction on your license. Their equipment is clean and comfortable to operate and the Fresno location has a spacious training yard for you to practice in. You can’t go wrong with this school as long as you’re willing to put in the time and effort on your end.

Best prices, great training, and great staff. Juan, Rafa, and Frank are great teachers (and funny as hell to boot). I keep hearing stories about younger guys paying $7,000+ for schools that are absolute clown shoes and taught them next to nothing. I'm really glad I got my license here and would refer anyone in Northern CA to go here.

Also its a free for all to get equipment usage sometimes feels like all the students show up at the same time. Overall great school passed the dmv test on my first try.
